Joey Mod Taillights.

Post by doomsdaybob »

I modded these tails about 8 years ago but never got around to putting them in between work travel and family. My originals started fogging up so I dropped these in. Wish I had the time to do the headlights as well [and my wife wasn't so freaked about the replacement costs if I break them]. Got a set of clear tails in the garage, might be bored and try them as well. While I was planning/working on these I aquired several sets of tails to play with and I think I have 3-4 sets someplace in my garage.

Ground down the factory plastic welds, separated the pieces, scotch padded the chrome off everything except the interior reflector, sprayed w/ satin black, reassembled with some heavy duty 3M auto adhesive/sealer. Then let sit in a box in my garage for several years. :)
