OK, I signed up for a $75 Hyperdrive since you don't need to be a member of NASA.

Well, guess who's back and doing track time? Look forward to seeing you guys there "and" as an added incentive, there will be a party for BMW CCA club Racers (and whoever else show's up) in the paddock Saturday night! We'll have a killer sound system set up, with grills and drinks to make a cookout of it.
I now have a fully dedicated track car. '89 BMW 325 with M3 motor and not much else. Actually having to add weight this month to balance it out!

Hey! As long as you can keep moving forward, it's a racing surface! :trike:

Pedro: I could use a second driver, but i think that Christian needs to start in karts before the MINI.

Well I found a Honda to Co-drive in TTC and I'll be instructing so it looks like if I can talk the wife into letting me out two weekends in a row I'll be at sebring for this.

NASA is looking for instructors for this weekend as well for those that are qualified!
Looks like I will not be running but will be hosting the BMW CCA Club Race Party instead. Plan on staying trackside afterwards to enjoy the fun. Music, Food, the works!

i'm really looking forward to this event!
Ian: look forward to meeting you and showing you the car. you might get a drive if you ask nice.
Mark: shame you aren't driving. we will have a chance to chase each other around the track eventually. in which class does your car end up competing? i have a couple of options.
James: i look forward to seeing your new ride. it sounds awesome.

see ya soon,
greg

edit: Ian: i have asked for a lead/follow instructor since i haven't run with NASA before. i know that you are up to the task. the question is: will you show me the fast MINI way around? i would love to work with you.

Currently, I'm in GTSU until I get an actual Dyno read from one of the NASA certified shops. Will be done by the May event. Based on past dyno info I should be in GTS 3.
Looking forward to a fun event even though I'm not running.

I ran the boss last weekend. I'm really disapointed with the changes they made to turn one. I think they took 5 to 10 mph out of the corner. My Min corner speed in one in the Boss was 78mph and that was at 1.4 lateral G's on street tires.
Anyway ran a 2:29.1 in her, so a 400whp mustang is still slower then my Mini.
Mini did a 2:27.4
