Looking for a classic!

Postby daffodildeb » Tue Sep 06, 2016 4:43 am

I'm looking for a classic Mini, and have found some candidates in other cities. There's one in Orlando, listed on Ebay--does anyone know this car?

Since everyone left here and went to FB I thought I would point you to a more active classic Mini forum.

My friend runs it and he also restores them as a hobby and sells them off. This group is really knowledgeable and have been very helpful when I needed questions answered.

I do not know that car but I am not huge into the classic scene. I just own one. LOL!

I know the seller of this one - it's a nice car.

Thanks, I appreciate your posting. I'm still considering the one in Orlando.

Do you know anyone in the Orlando area who could check it out (for pay, of course).

Deb... I don't know any classic Mini mechanics in Orlando, but you could send a private message to user "2phun" on this site. His name is Steve, and he lives in Orlando & has owned a couple of classic Minis. He could probably tell you of a mechanic in the area, or he might even be kind enough to scope out the car you're interested in for you.

FYI, he hasn't been active here in a while, so you might also want to see if his profile includes his e-mail address & send him a message that way.
