Calling All Brevard County MINIs/Minis

Postby minicoopersgirl » Fri Jul 01, 2005 3:15 am

I know there are a handful of MINIs in Brevard County...you're out there I've seen you! :waving:

I think it's time to start our own regional club of SSM...whaddya think? ;)b

If there is enough interest in starting our own chapter/division of SSM then I will give it a go and add Brevard to the SSM Forums and set up a date to meet and greet.

:sun:
Thanks,
Aimee

You have some rabid (e.g., Jon hasn't been vaccinated) MINIacs in N. Brevard. Higher population in S. Brevard. So let's look at potential sites in between, as well. Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, the Port, etc.

How's the job hunt going?

I'm stoked about this idea. Sounds great. Just let me know how I can help in any way or form. PM me and we can go over some of the details. I'm sure I can scout out a couple of more MINIs to join in. Of course anyone outside of Brevard would be more than welcome to come out. \:D/

I'm going to get a mass Brevard county email together to send out about getting together and maybe I'll get a better response than this.

What do you think about having a meet on August 27th at Ron Jons?

If you all think it's a good date/location then I'll shoot the email out with that information.
Thanks,
Aimee :)

That day sounds good to me. Do you think early evening would be better so it's not too hot?

Good Idea! What time do you think would be best? If it's later at night, then maybe we could think about having dinner somewhere. Any recommendations around there?

Maybe we can all meet around 6pm. As far as restaurants go, there is Grills at the port, Ron Jon's Cape Caribe restaurant, Azteca at Cocoa Beach Resort, Durangos by the Cocoa Beach Pier. Their is a good selection of restaurants out on the beachside. Merritt Island also has a good variety of restaurants like Outback, Red Lobster, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Applebees, and RJ Gators. The list is endless. I'm game for anything. Lets just find out what kind of food everyone likes and we will decide that way.

Brevard MINI's

Postby Pea-Pod » Thu Jul 07, 2005 1:07 am

I'm in! The only problem I see with RonJon's.....is the parking garage! If we meet somewhere more "open", it'll be easier to see one another.Maybe MI Mall parking lot? ( select store location) Any food establishment is fine with me. Date looks good! If there is anything I can do...place flyers,etc....let me know :D

The Ron Jon's restaurant is actually in the port. It's next to Jetty Park. Ron Jon's built a huge time share about 2 years ago. The restaurant is attached to the resort. It's just a thought. Meeting at the mall might be a good idea. The parking lot in front of Macy's is easy to get to. There is always plenty of parking next to 520. My wife is a manager at that Macy's and that is the only place where I will park the MINI because I know it won't get hit or scratched. There is usually at least 50 empty spots right there which would make for a perfect central meeting spot.

Thanks to Robert for the update!

UPDATE: The parking lot in front of Macy's is being ripped up, so our location will be moved across the street in the Barnes & Noble parking lot.
