Spring Thing 10

Never too early to start planning, I believe its tentatively set for February 25, 26 & 27th, 2005. In Orlando, hopefully at a better hotel with more parking. Please feel free to correct the dates if they are not correct. The Florida Mini Enthusiast site FLAME should have more info soon.

I was wondering when this topic was going to pop up.
I was at st9 last year WITHOUT a MINI and all i did was drool and stare along with all the other tourists pointing at all the cool MINIs motoring around in apack up and down on I drive . :P I ordered mine shortly after that and now I am ready to hit O town and fog up mirrors with the
best of em.
"Pele" (aka "The Batmobile")( aka the "Fighter jet MINI") Gone but never forgotten...
"Dingo" gone but still in the SSM family.

I spoke to mike Priest a few weeks ago. The dates are set (elpez is correct) but they are still finalizing the hotel stuff. The hotel won't be the same last year, thankfully.
That's my story..........and I'm stickin' to it!

I'm going to the FLAME meeting this Sunday so I should have some more information next week. They are still trying to find a hotel to host the meet. The website will be updated soon, too.

By the way, some of the people who caused trouble with the new MINIs are no longer participating with FLAME.

Spring Thing

Postby miniminx500_uk » Fri Dec 03, 2004 5:37 am

Hi guys,

I am the events coordinator for London & Surrey Mini Owners Club in the UK.

I regularly visit Florida for a holiday each year.

I just wanted to let you know that I have added the date for the "Spring Thing" into our calender over here, so any of our members travelling to the USA can come visit the show...!

Good to have you on board miniminx! This is a great mini event and the FLAME people put on a fantastic show. Look forward to seeing the UK friends there.

FLAME would love to have more International attendees.

The final Spring Thing 10 details are still being worked out, but the dates are definite: Friday-Sunday, February 25-27, 2005.

Watch for information on the FLAME website at http://www.flamemini.com/springthing

Hard to believe that there so little "talk" on this thread, anyway, looking to caravan with other minis from Dade County or Broward, Mini/MINI, whatever (I can keep up, don't worry, have references as well as a new cold air intake) leave Miami around 11:00 am, interested? post reply!

If you guys are thinking of leaving Miami at 11AM, I won't be able to do so as I don't get out of class until noon time. Any possibility to move the departure time to around 2PM? Otherwise we'll catch up with you in Orlando.
