That wasn't the message that I got at all. You must be feeling guilty about something. I just thought it was awesome to see how much physical, emotional, spiritual, etc. energy both the cylons and humans put into finding earth so they could live in utopia, then just when all hope of finding Earth was about to be lost, they find a way to get there. And then upon arrival the proverbial rug gets pulled out from underneath both sides, finding that they were better off floating aimlessly through space. Haha, classic irony, and I'd say that finding your Eden is a wasteland is pretty dramatic. Is there a political message with it? Sure, but the whole series has been laced with political messages since the original miniseries. That doesn't make it any less entertaining of a show in my book.

And I guess now I can say the Planet of the Apes movie I was referring to was the most recent remake. Same kind of thing...he fights so hard to get away from the apes, only to find that the utopia he was trying to reach has been decimated.

I'm with you, Steve. I'm one of the first people to condemn a TV show or movie for being too political. And this one didn't jump out at me as a political statement. There have been past episodes that I found to be FAR more blatantly political. This one, I think, was more of a plot twist/ironic element, as you pointed out.

As long as you're still out pounding the pavement in search of gainful employment during normal business hours, man... enjoy!

And remember, you can start streaming the current season from Sci Fi's web site when you are caught up.

look what i found, a size comparison chart for most of the Starships from all of Sci Fi i believe. u see the size of the SuperStar Destroyer Executor class. the thing is huge compared to any battlestar or cylon base star. anyone of them looks like itl fit into the main hangar deck. its even biger than most of if not all of the ships on the chart. do you realize how long the Executor is?? i just did the damn math, that damn thing is 11.8 miles long. Holy Crap!!!! the chart just really interests me a lot. The Galactica is .8 miles, Cylon Basestar is .9 miles.

which pretty much proves that the Executor class would mop the floor with just about everything going...what the SSD lacks in speed and manuvering it makes up in sheer volume of fire...the cylons could throw all they had at the SSD and would just brush it off....and yes i know the Executor met its end in ROTJ but there was more than one

Hey, NBC now has Battlestar Galactica episodes...29 of them! And they just so happen to be of the ORIGINAL series! They have Buck Rogers, the A-Team, and a few other classic shows as well. Sahweeet! Time for some serious cheese.

Tune in Friday December 12 at noon EST.

The action continues with 10 exclusive webisodes of Battlestar Galactica. "The Face Of The Enemy", picks up where Season Four of the series ended. Lieutenant Gaeta is sent off in a raptor with a handful of strangers when one of them mysteriously dies. The psychological Human vs. Cylon struggle ensues in the restrictive confines of a raptor as everyone is a suspect and paranoia sets in among the group. One by one more passengers die under puzzling circumstances and those remaining must ask themselves if a Cylon is responsible for the deaths, or if it is one of their own — a human.

Yep, looks like a run of Webisodes to prime us for a January 16th premiere of Season 5.
