Weird. My phone shows the menu up to the dot after MCP, so I'm missing ACP and VIEW NORMAL SITE.

I just tried this in Firefox on my PC and saw the same thing as on my phone.

Try emptying your cache. Also, you won't see ACP unless you're an Admin (Admin Control Panel). Not sure why you don't see VIEW NORMAL SITE. Can someone else test it and confirm?

I tried it earlier tonight on my iPhone and I didn't see that link either. I might have missed it, looks kinda buried in that screenshot, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there.

This was my first time visiting the forum with the iPhone since the mobile version was implemented.

FYI, Jack, using my Blackberry, I saw the entire menu of options. The site automatically put me on the mobile version, and I just licked to view the normal site. No issues.

OK, just used my son's iPhone to login and I don't see it using his login. Before I had logged in as me and I'm and admin and I could see it. Seems like that's the issue. So I'm working on it.

Ok I will +1 on the no option to view the non-mobile verison without a moderator type account. Also I have noticed that when I log on and check the box to keep me logged in it does not. I dont know why?

That would be a cookie issue. Check your browser to see if you have cookies turned off.

Cool got it. I had to change the cookie settings on the iphone to always instead of form vistited.

OK, it looks like this solution will work.

Go to the home page and you will see options to choose the Normal Site or the Mobile Site:



If you choose the Normal Site you should get this:



If you choose the Mobile Site you should get this:



If you decide you want to view the forums all the time in either style on your phone, make a bookmark of the forum index page for that particular style.

Everyone please test this and let me know if it isn't working.

Sweet! Little something interesting, when I come to the site now on the computer, I use the other style than the SSM one. When I click "normal forums" while Im logged in it shows the page in the SSM theme. I'll click board index again and load it up and it will change the theme to the pro silver one.

Yeah, I use Pro Silver too and it does the same thing for me. That's because the link goes to a URL with style=2 on the end. Style to is the SSM style. Pro Silver is a different style "number." Most people use the SSM style (the admin tools show this) so I went with that.

For those who are using the Tapatalk app on their iPhone, a new version just installed allows you to upload photos to forum posts directly from your phone. This new version of the Tapatalk plug-in also works with Android phones (although you'll need to get the Tapatalk app on your phone.

The Mobile/Normal version of the site works on my Windows Mobile.
