Was this in the parking garage at Shands UF? I do know that UPD will ticket you in the garages if you back into the spot. Sorry you were "tagged" by them! :)

I believe, because we do not have front license plates, that ALL garages will ticket you for backing in.

They just have to be trained! Some MINI owners do not understand proper MINI etiquette! :waving:

I tagged a BRG/BLK Cooper S this evening in the Best Buy parking lot. I was so excited that i found a twin for Elcie. I did notice this car had a Bra and the Borla exhaust. I will post a picture later.

Actually when I was in school at UF you were not allowed to back into any space anywhere on campus. Obscure rules increase revenue. And they love to patrol the parking lots. Watch yourself on campus. Oh and they take the 20 MPH speed limit VERY seriously.

I spoke to Nancy about having some GOMINIs/SSM cards made up so we can get tagging again. I've seen a lot of new MINIs around town. Let me know who wants to step up. I have the GOMINI cash, but I will be handing it over to someone else very soon.

Didn't tag this MINI because I don't have any cards :(. Hopefully someone will have some at Tom Bush for the ride.

That yellow MINI is VERY cool. I'm actually very jealous. It basically made me think of my choice to get the cool fast model vs. getting the S and going to town in customizations.

In the pictures you can see the checkerboard on the mirrors and the bonnet stripes. Checkerboard was also on the roof along with the nice sun roof package.

The interior was done with yellow accents. The dash panel wasn't piano black or silver! It wasn't carbon fiber either! I don't know what it was, but it was this cool wavy checkerboard thing. Totally awesome! The wheels were the nice two piece alloys (I think). It also had a cool set of driving lights (which got a question from my girlfriend as to why I don't have them on my car).

I don't want to post license plate because I feel that isn't the best thing to do on the Internet, but it was a very neat and fitting. It basically fit the color of the car very well. (I thought it might be MINIBee's car)

I hope this owner sees it. I really hope they're at the Tom Bush meet. I'd like to find out more about the dash panel.

I bought some cards and started tagging!

Friday I tagged a CR/W MC and an LB/B MC parked on campus across from the old Porpoise. Yesterday I tagged a PW/B MC parked on SW 1st Ave near campus. It had a white Apple decal and a College of Engineering decal on the back window, and a GB oval sticker on the right rear bumper. Anyone know who this is?

Hello! I got tagged by MonstarMike the other day so I joined in. Where do you guys get the cards?
I saw a blue MCS today but I had nothing to tag it with. :(

I want to start tagging, too! I see so many awesome MINIs around Gainesville but never have any way of letting them know about the loving MINI community :) I actually got tagged down in Bradenton by "Sunshine," so that's how I found the group.

On a side note, I also wish more people waved. Sometimes I zone out so maybe I don't always see it, but I always feel slightly rejected when I wave at someone and they ignore it...

Cards can be ordered here.

I need to order some more myself as I'm running out.

I see a bunch of MINIs driving around, but very few when I'm parked somewhere. I need to work on my ninja star throw of the cards so I can tag as I'm driving to work!

EDIT

That's the JAMM card! I didn't even realize! I'm glad I got some cards from CR436 (Mark). Someone should ask him or hopefully someone else knows where to get the cards I've been handing out (generic SSM cards).
